Our Story

It has always been this way. In cathedrals and living rooms, in fields and prison cells, in moments of unimaginable sorrow and moments of pure uncomplicated joy — human beings have opened their mouths and let music carry what words alone cannot hold.

We live in a time of unrest. Of division and disharmony. Of noise that exhausts and rhetoric that divides.

Sing Series is our answer to that.

When we gather — voices of all ages, backgrounds and stories joining in the same melody — ancient hymns meet contemporary anthems, gospel classics meet new songs of faith. Music unites people who might otherwise never find common ground. Together they tell one story: that we are not alone, that hope is real, and that beauty points us toward its author.

Over the years we have watched people arrive and leave visibly lighter. Souls lifted a little closer to heaven. That is simply what happens when music does what God designed it to do.

Sing Series was founded by Benjamin Milis and is proudly presented by Wahroonga Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sydney — made possible entirely by passionate volunteers who give freely because they have seen what this music does and they cannot stop.

Two concerts each year. An audience always invited to sing. And every ticket sold going directly to charitable causes — because just as we sing in unity, we give in unity too.
